MISSION STATEMENT
Eli Zabar runs the historic Amagansett Farmers Market in partnership with the Peconic Land Trust, a nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to conserving Long Island's working farms and natural lands. Together, they are committed to maintaining the role that the market has played in the fabric of the community and amplifying the sale of local and regional products.

As a retail farm stand, Amagansett Farmers Market supports, encourages and promotes the produce and products that are grown and raised on both the North and the South Forks of Long Island, by farmers, fishermen and artisans, the keepers of our East End way of life.

Behind the Amagansett Farmers Market, seven acres of land under the stewardship of the Peconic Land Trust is being farmed by Amber Waves Farm. The mission of this Community Supported Agriculture project is to produce organic, healthy, nourishing food for the local community, and to provide the public with an educational outlet to learn about the joyful process of growing food by using the land as an outdoor classroom. It also supports the community by maintaining a beautiful open space in Amagansett village.
