Description

Send someone you love six months of liquid sunshine. That is an exaggeration to get your attention, but it also speaks to how proud I am of our current selection of olive oils. This club starts with a French oil and vinegar set plus my favorite and simplest salad dressing recipe. Then we’ll send one Fall Harvest 2022 oil a month for the following 5 months. A great gift for the gourmets in your life or an excellent way to develop your own olive oil credentials.

Month #1: Set of French Olive Oil & Vinegar

Eli has always had an affinity for the South of France and a love for its products and traditions. He has imported this olive oil from the Vaucluse region of Provence and pairs it with a rosé vinegar from the same valley. The salad dressing recipe is his wife’s and has been served at their dinner table nearly every night for more than 20 years.

Month #2: Renato Fenocchio Ligurian Olive Oil

Made in small batches by one of our favorite Piedmonte winemakers, this first press olive oil is made in small batches, unfiltered, pesticide-free and utterly delicious. Bright and grassy with a peppery finish.

Month #3: Tenuta di Valgiano, Tuscan Olive Oil

This delicious oil is produced by an excellent wine maker in Northern Tuscany. It is yellow green, smooth and fruity with a hint of citrus.

Month #4: Tenuta Delle Terra Nere Olive Oil
One of our favorites oils from Mount Etna in Sicily, where century-old olive trees grow in rocky, volcanic soil at altitudes up to 1000 meters above sea level. The resulting oil is unusually mild and fresh with hints of green grass. Resist the temptation to drink it by the spoonful!

Month #5 La Tradition Olive Oil

An exceptional French olive oil with a distinct flavor profile—plenty of herbal aromas and a typical peppery sensation.

Month #6 Il Palagio Tuscany
A hand picked mix of Frantoio, Leccino and Maraiolo olives are blended for this extra virgin, cold pressed, organic oil. Soft texture, very low acidity, a little grassy with a very mild and pleasant peppery finish. It may interest you to know that this oil comes form the estate of Sting and Trudie Styler.
