Where do we source our flowers from?

We source primarily from the Dutch market in Holland, the Côte d’Azur and in season, locally grown blooms. It is a pleasure to work with growers and farmers in the tri-state region, and we are grateful for the plants and blooms we are able to get from them. Bright ranunculus, anemone and peony sure keep us happy during the cold months. Watch for the mighty hellebore, both potted and cut—many varieties and very long-lasting!

Tips for keeping flowers alive?

For cut flowers, keep the vessel and water clean; give your stems a fresh cut every day. Most flowers have a 4-7 day vase life but if water is not cleaned, and stems trimmed every other day bacteria can settle in and shorten even the lives of the hardiest flowers. Never put fresh cut flowers in direct sunlight -- keep them as cool as possible! For houseplants, window boxes and terrace containers, always water in the morning before the sun is on the plants and water often. Trim dead leaves and flowers to keep the plants blooming over and over.
